Holiday Travel Planning for Costa Rica

November is creeping up and it dawns on you that it is starting to get cold, really cold. You get to thinking it would be really nice to warm up in Costa Rica or anywhere tropical at the end of December. Though, when you start making inquiries, you wished you would had this idea months ago, now that you realize flights are very expensive and decent hotel reservations are hard to come by. Here are some travel planning tips to assure you enjoy the perfect end of year vacation in Costa Rica:
It’s never too early to start planning, contact your travel planner as soon as you have some dates to work with.
If you want the best bang for your buck, try booking your accommodations 10 to 12 months in advance. As you approach the end of the year, the less choice you have on quality and competitive pricing.
Start looking at airfare right away, the farther out you start checking, the more educated you will be on when to purchase at the right price.
Airfare & accommodations are the first steps to planning a fabulous vacation, figure that out right away. What you’ll do when you are there can wait until later in the trip planning process.
The sooner you start planning, the more money you will be motivated to save and be able to enjoy a fabulous travel experience.
Plan ahead to get the right vacation attire at great prices. Purchase a new bathing suit or a pair of sunglass or sandals in August when warm weather apparel is on sale. It’s hard to find summer shorts and sorts during late fall.
Happy Holidays!
